Working with RTI, the Ministry of Education and key educational stakeholders to develop a pre-school curriculum to contribute to WVI-C’s Education and Life Skills Strategy. Reviewed and developed Khmer- language curricula for pre-school, contributed to development of teaching & learning materials for use in pre- schools, and supported development of policy and practices related to teacher professional development. Contract length: 9 months.

Promoting Good Governance by Increasing Access to Information and Strengthening the Independent Media Project, Final Evaluation.
Carried out qualitative and quantitative data collection in 4 provinces to assess the project, including desk review, tools creation, training and management of interviewers, translation and analysis of data and final report. Donor: European Union. Contract length: 3 months.

Child Rights Project and Strengthening Livelihoods Project, Final Evaluation.

Carried out research and evaluations (qualitative interviews, combined with quantitative surveys) in 4 provinces including desk review, tools creation, training and management of interviewers, translation and analysis of data, final report. Donor: ERIKS. Contract length: 1.5 months.

Strengthening Grassroots Democracy Project, Mid-Term Review.

Evaluation to generate qualitative learning to help improve implementation and results during the remaining period of the project and improve monitoring and evaluation. Carried out qualitative research in 4 provinces. Hired, trained and managed interviewers. Donor: Bread for the World. Contract length: 1.5 months.

Documentation of Best Practices and Success Stories
Reviewed relevant documentation across a range of educational activities and procedures to create eleven Best Practice papers. Topics included Accelerated Learning, Multilingual Education, Special and Inclusive Education, School Resource Mobilization, School Management, Teacher Professional Development, School Access and Quality and Teaching Materials. Contract length: 1 month.

CHAIN Project, Knowledge, Attitudes & Practices Survey

Conducted KAP survey for CHAIN nutrition and agriculture project in Kratie and Oddar Meanchey provinces measuring impact of the project using a treatment and control group and quasi-experimental methods. Designed KAP survey, trained enumerators, utilized Kobo Toolbox electronic data collection platform, managed data collection, undertook extensive data cleaning and analysed data. Donors: Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Swisscontact and the World Vegetable Center. Contract length: 4 months.

Safe Migration and Economic Empowerment Project, Final Evaluation:

Carried out qualitative data collection with survivors of trafficking to assess the project’s impact on the livelihoods and holistic wellbeing of clients. Donor: Private donor. Contract length: 1 month.

Plan Cambodia, Vocational Training for Disadvantaged Young People Project, Final Evaluation:

Assessed the quality of performance, accomplishments, approaches and impacts of the project across three provinces, including impact on disadvantaged young people, particularly women and young people with disabilities. Utilised Kobo Toolbox electronic data collection platform for tracer survey and SPSS for data analysis. Carried out qualitative data collection, coding and analysis. Provided report with triangulated data, consolidated learnings and recommendations for future scaling up of the program. Donor: DFAT. Contract length: 2 months.

Multi stakeholder evaluation to determine the relevance and fulfillment of objectives, developmental efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability of the project.

Name: Market Scan and Job Opportunity Research

Under the lead of National Committee for Counter Trafficking (NCCT); conduct a Market Scan and Job Opportunity Research to identify and enhance existing tools or create new tools to generate solutions to address employment and migration issues, helping to match the demand of unskilled and low-skilled positions with migrants seeking employment in Cambodia and other countries. Contract length: 5 months.

Name: Mid Term Evaluation of STED Skills Development Project In Myanmar and Cambodia.

Evaluation of project covering tripartite stakeholder development for tourism, light manufacturing, food production and agriculture sectors. Full evaluation; desk review, research, interviews, etc. Provide presentation and recommendations in comprehensive report. Contract length: 2 months.

Name: Labour Market Framework & Economic Empowerment (EE) Program 

Labour Market Framework (LMF): Researched current employment trends and carried out full market sectors and policy analysis (including on the 2015-2015 NEP) to create LMF document. 
Economic Empowerment Program: Carried out desk review, market sector analysis, interviews with staff and beneficiaries, interviews with employers and similar programs to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the EE program. 
Provide comprehensive report and presentation, make recommendations on changes beneficial to the program and identify strategies for program improvement and development.

Met with key stakeholders in Battambang & K Thom provinces, including MoWA, MoE, MoLVT, MoSAVY, UNICEF, Room to Read. Carry out assessment of current programs (including desk review and process analysis), evaluate and provide comprehensive report on sectorial gaps and make recommendations for collaboration and future program activities.
